What does 22 momme mean?

Momme indicates the weight of silk. Our mulberry silk pillowcase uses 22 momme silk and is available in 50x70 and 65x65 cm.

Silk is a fibre; satin is a weave that can be made from different fibres. The Noctua satin pillowcase offers a smooth finish, but is not sold as mulberry silk. If you want the silk fibre, choose the 22 momme mulberry silk pillowcase.

For mulberry silk, hand wash or use a silk programme at 30 °C in a laundry bag with a mild, enzyme-free detergent. Dry flat in the shade. For the satin pillowcase, use a delicate cycle at 30 °C in a laundry bag and air dry in the shade. Always follow the individual product label.
